Richard Earnest:

Richard has always been interested in technology. While still a child in Artesia, his father introduced him to programming computers with some of the first technology available to home users. He continued to practice the science into adulthood. Formerly employed by Dell computers in Texas as a technical support supervisor, he has combined his love of computers and extensive hearing aid fitting training to serve the hearing impaired of S.E. New Mexico.

Having grandparents who are hearing impaired, he is familiar with the effects of hearing difficulties on his patients and their families. Using the latest diagnostic and miniaturized circuit design techniques he learned at manufacturing facilities in California, Texas and Minnesota, Richard designed and implemented S.E. New Mexico's only full service hearing aid repair facility. In the time since becoming licensed to fit hearing instruments in New Mexico he has compassionately helped hundreds of families cope with and overcome the adversity of diminished communication due to hearing loss.

Richard is a devoted husband and father of two wonderful daughters. His spare time is spent teaching his children the same compassion and love of technology his father passed along to him.
